I own the ASUS N550JK and I've absolutely loved it, but I've recently had some hardware issues. A piece in the LCD back panel cracked and broke off, so now the screen is separating from the cover on one side. I could RMA through ASUS as I have about another month left on my warranty, but I would rather not send it away for 3-4 weeks. I've been searching online for a replacement back assembly, but this is the only one I could find: http/www.waresphere.com/store/asus-n550-lcd-back-cover-assembly-13n0-p9a0j41-13nb00k2am0141.html
I'm skeptical of buying it because it says it's for the non-touch model only, but mine is a touch screen variation. I'm asking here to see if there would actually be a difference in the back assembly between the touch and non-touch models. Any help and input would be appreciated! Thanks!
Oh and this is the specific model that I own: http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231684
