A few days ago I purchased the N56DP-DH11. So far, so good, and the gaming seems to be going alright (still trying to get temps down ad everything as I'm new to all this).
Anyway, yesterday I noticed that if I press Fn + F11 (to turn the volume down) or Fn + F12 (to turn the volume up) it types out a long string of "h"'s if I am in the middle of typing something. Literally, it looks like this: "hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhchhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". And for some reason if I do it while turning the volume down a random "c" will sometimes appear amidst all the "h"s. Now, I should note that this only happens if I hold down both keys. If I only do it one volume notch at a time, even in rapid succession, it acts normally.
Could it be the new AMD Catalyst drivers I installed? A Windows update? Unfortunately I don't know if this was happening before those updates. Lastly, if there's any way to set the F# keys to always perform their Fn key functions (i.e. I would only have to press F11 or F12 to change the volume), that's a solution that would probably suffice for me.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
