Asus N56VZ...5 minutes to boot!!!

Hi guys,

maybe you have an idea about the reason for a weird behaviour that is happening to my laptop (ASUS N56VZ) from yesterday.
When I turn on the laptop, it takes a long time (minutes!) to boot and to display the ASUS logo. Then, it just starts without any problem and it works perfectly. If I restart the machine, it boots in few seconds but if I turn it off and then on againit takes ages.
BIOS is updated. I did a check on the memory and on the HD and there are no errors.
I don't have any device plugged in.
No idea why!!!! Could you suggest any test to understand where is the problem or do you have any suggestion?

are you running windows 10?

can try turning off fast boot: http/www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-fast-startup-turn-off-windows-10-a.html

Might try updating your bios and running a program like Driver Booster to find any old drivers that could be slowing your down.
