Asus power supply fried?

hello,

I use an ASUS 502L and was working with a friend who also uses an ASUS, which has a slightly bigger memory. I borrowed her charger, and my computer made a strange noise and shut off... it turns out our voltages are the same, but her amps are 1.5 and mine only are 1.2. Now, no lights come on when i plug my own charger in, and it wont turn on. Am I screwed for not buying GeekSquad protection? What can i do?

Would guess something has died, not a good idea to mix chargers

Hi, the difference between the amperage of the two adapters is not the cause of the problem if the voltage is the same, unless the polarity is different.
