Can i swap my cd drive for a fan?? Is it possible?

I was going to say no, but then saw this:

However, looks to be no more than a gimmick to me than actually being effective. Unless the fan is over the CPU or GPU where it can actually do some good, there would be no point.

You need to ask yourself why your laptop is getting to hot to start with, not try to fight it with some ridiculous looking attachment bolted to it.
