Asus RoG G551jw or MSI Ghost?

I am in the market for a decent laptop that will last me through college and one I can travel with. I picked these two brands but I have no idea which one is more reliable, anyone have any clues to point me in the right direction?

The GL551JW will be better in regards of dissipating heat. The MSI is slightly thinner but the overall dimensions overall are in the GL551's favor. Well I didn't know what type of MSi notebook would be the equivilent to the Asus G551jw with a 960M, Intel i7 4720Hq, 128ssd, and 1TB

The GS60 GhostPro-044 would be the most comparable, with it having a slightly weaker CPU (4710HQ) and a better GPU (970M).
