Asus ROG G750JS FPS ISSUE!

Hello , so recently my Asus ROG laptop has been under performing and I wanted to know why?

On battlefront for example i get 30 fps on high like 40 on med and 50 on low.

I don't know what the issue is though also my turbo boost doesn't work unless i use Throttlestop and disable BD PROCHOT so could that be related? Also couple weeks ago I did spill water, but it wasn't much less than half a cup. Everything seemed to work just fine, but could it be hardware related then? I appreciate any help on the matter!

Hi,

First, I would suggest cleaning the inside of your laptop to investigate if there are any water left inside the laptop because even a single drop of it could ruin everything inside.

Do also clean the fans of the GPU and CPU and apply new thermal paste on them. Lastly, do a clean install of the graphics card driver as well.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Once uninstalled, download and install the latest driver.

- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- Do test it again after the reboot.
