Asus ROG GL552JX Battery Problem

My Asus laptop battery is stuck at 74% but when plugged off it immediately turned off. What's the solution for this? should i buy a new battery?

How old is your battery? My Acer laptop battery died while only being 2 years old.

You should try leaving the laptop charging for some hours while its completely turned off. If the problem still persists after that, try removing the battery and see if all the contact points are fine. after that try the previous test again.
If that doesn't work then your battery is probably dead.
