For the longest time i have been trying to diagnose my gaming laptop and i just cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on. I have restored my pc mutliple times. Pulling exact drivers from the OEM website.

I do not know what else to do at this point except ask for help online.

When playing games like Overwatch I exeperience 60 fps but every 4-5 seconds i get a Lag spike and lose about 15-10 frames which is extremely annoying.

Laptop Specs are as follows
GL753VD
Intel I7-7700hq
GTX 1050
16gigs
Regular 5200 rpm drive.

Never had this problem till about 4 months ago.

Solution
check the temperature of your laptop, CPU and GPU

BIOS of the laptop is up to date?
try drivers from nvidia.com

Is the laptop using the "high performance" graphics adapter GTX1050 and not the integrated graphics unit of the CPU?

eventually you can solve it by using a SSD instead of the HDD

run 3dmark basic edition , click on compare result online after that and post the address from your upcoming browser
