Asus Strix Pro microphone not working on PC

Hey everyone.I have a issue with my Strix Pro headset, and my G751JY. When i connect the Headset using the small volume box to the PC, the Music playback works, but the microphone doesnt. When connected to a phone, everything works fine. When talking, i do not see the audio bars in the Sound settings move, but when i flick the microphone switch, it gives me a short full green bar. Again using my iPhone, i can talk and hear just fine. Where could the problem be? Here is a list of stuff i tried:

- Reinstalling Realtek drivers
- Rebooting 200 times
- Plugging it into my phone - That worked.
- Disabling ENC(Enviromental Noise Cancellation)
- Using Linux - The Headphones didnt play at all
- Replugging all cables into the correct ports and configuring the port order
- Disabling microphone in Device Manager
- [strike]Throwing the headphones and PC out the window[/strike] Not yet...

By any chance, when you plug in the headset, do you get a question from your "audio suite"? I had the same issue with my headset, mic wouldn't work until i looked into my gigabyte audio thing window, within it it was asking me what did i just plugged and when i picked the microphone it started to work...

Maybe the adapter is experiencing some issues, I see that it can be connected to the PC via USB, did you try that option?

Thats only to power the ENC system. The audio is only transmited over the 3.5mm's

Try changing the usb port, some ports don't give enough power, so the headphones worked but the mic didn't. It worked for me.
