Asus T100 (Z3740) vs Lenovo Miix 320 (X5-Z8350)?

I have an old Asus T100 that I'm quite happy with but now I see there's a nice Lenovo Miix 320 released at a good price. The Miix 320 I'm considering is the one with 128 GB storage, 4 GB RAM and full HD display.

However, I'm sceptical [strike]to[/strike] about the slow X5-Z8350. I've tried searching for comparisons between the old Z3740 and the newer Z8350, and it seems to new CPU is slower in many cases (!).

Do you think the experienced speed of Miix 320 with full HD and 4 GB RAM will be better than the T100 with lower res display and 2 GB RAM? I find my old T100 a bit slow at times.

The tempting part is the Full HD display and the 4 GB RAM. How much will the single channel RAM controller limit performance you think? Difficult to answer I know.

I think that the T100 is slow at times because of the 2 GB RAM and a slow eMMC. Hopefully the Miix 320 has a better eMMC.

I'm considering buying the Miix 320 and send it back if I don't like it. If only it had a Z8550 Atom instead...
