Just bought a Asus TP300LA, removed the HDD to replace with an SSD
Cloned the hdd to ssd and put in the laptop and it would go to bios. After reinstalling the original HDD it still goes to bios.

I tried inputting a windows 10 USB, and there are no HDDs being displayed

I'm so confused, as to why it isn't recognizing the new SSD or original HDD,

There was a warranty sticker covering the HDD bay which I had to break to remove the caddy.

Any advice welcome, feel like i've bricked a £350 laptop within minutes.

Solution
Figured it out in the end, Turns out there's a connection a few inches from the HDD/Sata connector, that goes into the motherboard, which must have come unconnected. I couldn't see it as the wifi cables were covering it. But it now boots from the SSD and HDD Thank you for you input rgd1101 and ffg7
