Asus Transformer T101HA charging through USB 2.0 port

Hi,
Is it possible to charge an Asus Transformer T101HA through the USB 2.0 port? I'm concerned that the micro USB 3.0 port will break at some point so I'm wondering if there's a backup charger option. Thanks!

I have a T100T. I do not believe it is possible to charge through the USB 2 port.
