asus vs dell gaming laptop

Hello, I have already ordered
ASUS ROG GL551JW-AH71(WX) (WAS $799 at time of purchase)

But I just saw this Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK

I'm wondering if I chose the correct laptop.

The asus does have a i7-4720HQ vs dell's Intel i5-6300HQ but,
I see that the dell has 4GB of vram vs the 2GB but I've read that it won't make much of a difference on a laptop.
Another thing i see is that the Dell has an IPS display.

Which one is the better choice here?
I will be using the laptop for gaming and school(some programming)

The Dell is probably better overall quality (and that's debatable), but the ASUS has a more powerful processor. I would stick with what you already have ordered. Other than the processor, they're virtually the same.
