About to buy a new laptop for college and am stuck between making the choice between:

Lenovo IdeaPad V570, link here --> http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Lenovo+-+IdeaPad+V570+Laptop+/+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i5+Processor+/+15.6%22+Display+/+6GB+Memory+/+640GB+Hard+Drive+-+Silver+Gray/2731265.p?id=1218347164819&skuId=2731265&st=lenovo%20ideapad&cp=1&lp=1

or

Asus U56E-BBL5, link here --> http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+Laptop+/+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i5+Processor+/+15.6%22+Display+/+6GB+Memory+/+640GB+Hard+Drive+-+Lake+Blue/2712418.p?id=1218346634378&skuId=2712418

Basically these laptops are identical in price and specifications, except for the fact that the Asus has a usb 3.0 slot and a 8 cell battery, and the Lenovo has 2.0 mp webcam, a fingerprint scanner, and a usb/esata combo port.

Based on your these differences and your history with the preformance of Lenovo/Asus models similiar to these, which do you think would be the winner? Or is just too close to call, leaving it up to me in the end?

Thanks

They are both good brands. But Asus has a better reputation, and they have the lowest malfunction rate.
If you want to do a lot of video chat, then you might benifit from getting Lenovo.
