ASUS X540LJ-XX609D noise

Hi! I bought an ASUS X540LJ-XX609D laptop in September. I started to use it yesterday and eveything is alright except the noise. The fans are loud all the time and it bothers me. It is a new laptop, what can I do about it?

If it sat for that long, it is going to depend on if it is out of warranty or not. If it is still under warranty, then I would contact the manufacturer and have them repair or replace it.

If it isn't then you yourself, or someone you take it to, should check for dust in it and also check the fans thermal paste to see if it needs replacing.
