Asus x550ca not charging

Hi guys! I am completely out of ideas as to what to do and therfore I came here to ask for advice from the community. My asus x550ca laptop randomly stopped charging a few days ago. These are the things I've attempted so far:

-removed the battery, held the power button down for 20 seconds
-tested trying to turn the laptop on via the ac adapter only
-replaced the ac charger
-replaced the dc in cable
-replaced the motherboard

And it still is not showing signs of life. The LCD lights will not turn on on the old board or the new one. Can anyone guide me as to what else I may be missing or needing to check? Thank you, in advance.

When you did the first one you list, did you make sure the power cord was unplugged as well? Also, have you tried running it on charger cord alone, without the battery in?

Yes, I also attempted the 20 second thing while the computer was unplugged from the charger (but battery in). As for trying without the battery, yep ran it straight through the charger as well. Hm, I’ve also attempted with just the motherboard outside of the laptop and hooked onto the charger (with both boards).

There is a charging circuit on the motherboard, did you notice if it was damaged in any way?

No, I unfortunately did not notice any damage to the old board, the new one seems fine as well.
