Asus X550J - changing keyboard and cover

Having recently picked up a second hand Asus X550JX, I was wondering how feasible it is to change the keyboard (US to UK), and also the lid cover, which has quite a lot of scratches.

I'm not sure if physically, a UK keyboard would be compatible in place of the US one, not having done this before. And I know a skin could be applied to the cover in any case, but would be nice to know if it's possible to replace it altogether.

Edit - thanks for the answer, it'll be useful for future reference. However after seeing a video on how to remove said keyboard, I don't think I'll bother, seems like a very arduous task compared to other laptops.

Hi,

It seems like the UK keyboard should work just fine with that US laptop. Based from their dimension and number of pins, the UK keyboard should fit like glove in it.
