ASUS X553M Gaming Optimisation help needed

I have some games I want to play but my maximum FPS is up to 4-5. I adjusted my settings, remove unwanted apps, ended useless operations in the Task Manager, but only slight improvements. I think I might need new hardware but I am not sure

Yes. just not the low end netbook that you have.

The CPU is not capable, too small. You will have no success.
If you want games / good video quality, then use a quad core.
