Question ASUS ZenBook 14 doent recognise Acer XB 280HK Monitor

G'Day, I've just bought an ASUS ZenBook 14, I connected it to an Acer XB 280HK 4K monitor, using thunderbolt 3 to Display port on the monitor, I only get a black screen and screen says No HDMI, what am I doing wrong, thanks in advance for answers....?

Have you cycled through your various display output settings on your laptop (usually a FN key that changes video output from internal only, external only, internal and external) to see if your system ever properly recognizes the external display?
