Did anyone go and verify what the article said. Nexus does work directly on AT&T 3G network.. no modifications are needed.

[citation][nom]soldier37[/nom]AT&T haters lol. Ive had them for 8 years never had any issues. All I can say is sucks to be you if you are a Tmobile subscriber lol.[/citation]
LOL Exactly what I was thinking.

The only thing happening here is that T-Mobile customers will see their prices go through the roof and unlimited plans go away. There's a reason they were avoiding AT&T like the plague. They'll probably continue to do so once AT&T starts imposing draconian price increases.

[citation][nom]Stryter[/nom]lol Sprint may end up being the biggest winner here, since ATT seems to be driving all their customers (and now T-Mobile customers) to Sprint.[/citation]

Can't wait to see the mass exodus of T-Mobilers. If Verizon and Sprint are smart, they will offer incentives to T-Mobile customers and make the $39B investment really hurt...ATT that is.

[citation][nom]invlem[/nom]Interesting, so US mobile networks are going the way of Canada.[/citation]

No we aren't. In Canada all the cell phone towers are open up to each other and roaming charges don't exist there. In America, we finally got rid of roaming charges (mostly) and you just lose signal all together. I feel bad for the 3G network going obsolete, but by the time all this stuff happens. I am going to be on a 4G phone with Sprint, sipping down a margarita.

[citation][nom]hitraj 47[/nom]I am jumping ship and switching to sprint. Besides tmobile, they are the only carrier with truly unlimited plans, good pricing (relatively) and good customer service. Thanks tmo, we had fun, but screw att.[/citation]

I have Sprint. It is a fast network. I never dropped calls with Tmobile 3g but do sometimes with sprint. Not bad though. And Sprint's customer service is NOT NOT NOT good...AT ALL! Horrible actually. I'm on Sprint for the network though.
