Toms! Holly crap! Will you PLEASE fix this busted up comment section! Better yet, roll it back to the previous version that actually worked and made some sort of sense!

"It will cover expenses that AT&T incurs, including charges associated with cell rent sites and maintenance, as well as charges the carrier pays to interconnect with other carriers when delivering calls."
Because they were doing this for free, out of the goodness of their hearts before now. I mean, because my already $70 bucks a month bill is more like giving to charity for them, huh?
Now I'll just look forward to seeing the next bit of related news telling me that AT&T gets their asses handed to them in class action fees and everyone who's stuck with them gets to drop them and move to a fair carrier due to the Breach of Contract. (because calling it by another name doesn't make it any less a price hike)

AT&T is late. Government has been using the term "fee" to get around the legal hurdle of a "tax" for a while now. It takes a 2/3 majority in California legislature to pass a tax, but only an adminstrative fiat to pass a fee. Want to be outraged? Be outraged at the government.

What a bunch of Bulls#!t. Glad I dropped AT&T months ago. I was tired of paying $100 a month to those greedy mofos. I bought a Nexus 4 and I'm on StraightTalk's unlimited for $45 a month.

Unfortunately, this is essentially stealing. Why, you might ask? Because in my contract I agreed to pay them a set price for a service that I am receiving.
Now I'm being forced to pay MORE for the exact same service I was already receiving? BS.

I feel like we need to have those "man they are worst than" commercials where att is shown worse than getting hit by 4 student drivers at the same time. They really are the worst, I have had my identity stolen twice from them leaking my information and they still wont let me out of the etf.

I thought that's what my F%@&ing BILL WAS FOR!
"Because it is labeled as an administrative fee and not an increase in service charges, it doesn't constitute a breach of contract"
And this is just semantics. Someone needs to file a class action lawsuit against these phone companies. It's pathetic politicians haven't stepped in to regulate these companies better to ensure we aren't continually getting the shaft while european customers are getting fair prices.

LOL. Man... these guys are all straight in the pocket. Texting is technically free and doesn't really cost any extra for them to supply the service (it's built into every packet) and they make MILLIONS just on that.
