AT2020 XLR lots of static (repost) desperate for help.

Hey

I just got this mic today and hooked it up to a Behringer PS400 Phantom Power Supply

i plugged everything in correctly and the hiss is still there. It's really loud.

Hi,

I just got the AT2020 XLR and I have it hooked up to a phantom power supply, it records my voice but there is this horrible hissing static noise that doesnt seem to go away. I don't know what to try next. The noise is really loud, and very distracting.
