Hi, I have recently received a couple of Atari Lynx systems (the Lynx
II systems technically), and they don't work (I knew this when I got
them... Actually one does work, so I consider myself lucky. :)

I was just curious if there's any kind of tips or websites that might
mention common problems/fixes before I start digging into these things
to hunt down problems...

(1 of them seems to come on, but nothing on the screen and no audio,
but the screen lights up. The other 3 are all dead (no power light,
no activity at all when turned on). Any kind of common problem that I
should look at first on the dead ones?

Is it generally even worth trying to fix these? (I was just going to
mess around with them for fun... :)

Any tips that can be offered would be great!

TIA... Rik

That 3 sounds like a common problem: a blown transistor. At this time
there haven't been a compatible replacement available. Not sure about
your first one but it could be an issue with loose LCD display cable
and loose sound cable or something blown in the mainboard.

Not really. Replacement Lynx'es are often available cheaply on eBay.
