I tried towelroot V3 and didn't work for my cell ph, it's said this device is not supported. I got an update from ATT last week, I'm not sure if that cause that it's not working anymore, any advice?

Towelroot v3 only supports phones running Android versions from before June 3rd 2014. That would mean that your newly updated phone is no longer supported.
