I have an acer aspire one d255e. I have it hooked up to a dynex 36 inch flat screen. it has a vga and audio output on the laptop and an input on the tv. I ordered a cord which I got in recently and hooked it up. everything was a ok. I set the tv to vga and whola I can watch movies on Netflix threw my tv. the audio and video seemed perfect then minutes ago the audio went out in the middle of a movie. Any ideas how to fix it or what went wrong?

Its probably drivers have messed up the connection (try restarting the laptop, if that dosent work, go into control panel, sound, and take a look at your sound output)

There should be 2 options there :
1 the TV
2 your Laptop speakers

If any of those is not present, reinstalling drivers will probably help.

If both are, probably one is turned off (or perhaps both) and all you need to do to get it to work is turn it on.
