Audio wont work when using Blu-ray

I have an LG TV and sound bar with a Samsung Bluray player. When I try to use the Bluray player, no sound will come out. The video plays fine, just no sound. It is connected with an HDMI cord.

Hello there.

You may have to correctly set your sound settings in the Bluray player for sound to work. I suggest you go into Audio Settings in the bluray configuration and set the Digital Output to PCM. (PCM 2.1 channels) If it is set as DTS or Dolby digital, it might not work well.

The digital signal has to be set to PCM for most sound bars.
