Don't get too excited. The individual states still have to pass legislation to allow sale. Good luck to those States that have influential "Family" or "Christian" (read ignorant) politicians.

as Stimpaks were originally Morphine in the game

Actually it was Med-x the name replacement for Morphine. Handy little chem when surrounded by angry minigun-baring super-mutants. I guess they dont have of those in Australia, so dunno why so long the wait..

January 2013... oh well.
Until then I'll just have to be content buying Thai midget transgender porn. After all, if you are over 18 thats perfectly legal.

government mandated rateing is not the same as a 3rd party board that we currently have
these boards are set up in fear of government regulation

the reason we dont have AO games on consoles is because no one will allow them on the console, and even if you could get microsoft/sony/nintendo to ok it, you would still have places like wallmart who would refuse to carry adult material.

at least in the states, its not illegal to sell an AO game, its just not a financially viable market to make a game for. technically i have an AO ps2 game, but i cant consider that AO because you have to hack the game save and game itself to access the offending content.

Right because not wanting your kids to be exposed to excess violence and sex is "ignorant". But I guess its easy to point the finger at others when you have no morals yourself.

Unless you deem 18+ year olds to be children then you needn't worry. Of course the fact that you believe everyone who isn't "Christian" or "Family" orientated to be void of all morals is an entirely separate and more alarming issue.
