Solved! AV is greyed out and Component is the only option

My Samsung TV will not give me the AV option. I have the cords correctly plugged in for the AV to show but its only giving me the Component option which is making my DVD play in black and white with some fuz. I have no idea what to do.

Some TV can take Component (5 cables) Signal as well as Composite (3 cables), but not all. Manual will specifically says whether it can.

1. You don't have the audio cables connected to the two other component video inputs right?
2. Disconnect the DVD from the TV. Then try to set the menu to composite video and reconnect the DVD.
