Battery low warning but screen goes blank when cable plugged in.

I bought a new Aspire E15 a few weeks ago, when working on battery power I get a warning 'battery low plug in power supply'. When you plug one in, the screen goes blank & doesn't come back on until you remove the power supply. Can you tell what's wrong with it please?

Your laptop's display has two different power settings for when it's on battery and when it's plugged in. Try lowering or raising the brightness when you're on AC power.

If the display goes completely blank then something is wrong with your laptop and you should return it if possible, otherwise send it to acer for warranty.

If the display is very dim but not 100% gone then you need to increase brightness as metalicgeek suggested.
