Beats by dr dre problem with the sound, only hearing instrumental please help

Hi! I've bought beats solo hd black. They work perfect but today they suddenly stopped i just hear the instrumental it's a weird sound? Can i send them back ? I bought them from "cdon.com" i don't know what i can do... Please someone help.

Try to connect them to a different device(computer/tablet/phone/radio/ect) to see if they work.

If the are TRRS(tip ring ring sleeve) they may do some strange things on some TRS only jacks. Almost all phones today use TRRS so that should not be an issue.

What do u mean, yesterday they worked perfect on my pc but now nothing works , on my iphone,pc,tv,radio and etc... Don't know i just hear a sound like zzzzzzzz not the song

If that happens on all devices chances are the headphones are defective. You should contact the seller about an RMA.

Oh okay, thanks dude but why did they suddenly stopped if u know?

I can take a punt: Dodgy connection has put your L and R channels into a single rubbish mono. Something about your new wiring has inverted the phase, so now the vocal and anything else mixed in the middle is now in antiphase and cancelling out. Audio panned to either side is still coming out ok.

...Then your dodgy connection went entirely, giving you the zzzz. send them back, they shouldn't have got past qc.

Even mono would sound better, but yeah running in left and out right does sound quite strange. Normally happens when a plug is partially inserted.

Defects happen.
