Solved! Behringer 302usb X mic setut

i wanna plug mi mic in my audio interface (Behringer 302USB) but my mic has a 3.5mm jack and i wanna plug it in the audio in not the headset mic in. i have a 3,5Female - 6,35Male adapter but when i plug everything in my mic doesn't work. mic (tracer studio pro set). i wanna know if i buy xlr cable will it work or do i just stick with the headset in?

That device has a mic in already, why don't you want to just use the port it has built in for what you want to do with it? XLR to 3.5mm cables are bad quality aside from the expensive ones that cost more than your whole Behringer unit cost in the first place.
