Has anyone confirmed whether or not the Samsung Series 7 sold by Best Buy has the slot for the express cache , just not installed? I know that it is not present, but I just want to know if its an option or is this a special motherboard just for this model?

Hello fictitious1;

No backlit keyboard and no 8GB Express Cache SSD included.
As far as I know there is no 'slot' for the Express Cache SSD.
It's soldered onto the motherboard - like the first 4GB of RAM.
