I am wanting to hook up my PC to my 32" Samsung lcd. What is the best kind of cable to run that distance with? I can use either VGA with audio or HDMI or DVI, if they even come in that length. I want to be able to use the cable to have surround sound as well, so not sure if 3.5 audio on a VGA will even do that. And I wanted to know if quality of cable is too critical because not all in expensive VGAs and HDMIs have worked for me, or if it had good reviews it would be fine.

Notes- TV resolution 1368x768, Graphics card is a GTX 550

Does the gauge in HDMI cables matter too much? I have seen some that are 28 and some that are 22 and that one is 24.

Not so much, but all else being equal, the longer the run, the smaller the gauge you want.

Smaller gauge number actually means the larger the wire. 22AWG is larger than 24AWG which is larger than 28AWG.

Oh I read that post wrong. I thought you said smaller wire for longer distance. Thanks for clearing that up.
