Looking for the best CS:GO headset under $100. Right now I have the Logitech G430 and I got 13 days to return them, looking to see if there is anything better. I want good microphone quality in CS:GO, and TeamSpeak.

The HyperX Cloud II is amazing. They're extremely comfortable, sound amazing and the microphone is outstanding. You could buy the HyperX Cloud original, but the microphone isn't very good. Return the G430 and you'll be much happier with the HyperX Cloud II.

Heard the reviews and it said crackling/popping in the headset?

I've heard only good things, but you could get the regular Cloud. It's a crazy good headset for the price. The microphone isn't as good as the Cloud II

If you want analog, then you could get the Razer Kraken Pro, but they have some issues and aren't the best.

If you want a cheaper option, you could buy the Turtle Beach PX22. They're light-ish and sound pretty good, with a pretty nice microphone. I have them and I don't regret buying them. You can also attach a second device like a smartphone and listen to music through that if you want to.

Any one of the headphones I mentioned will be good. I would recommend the PX22 or the HyperX Cloud because they're over ear headphones and those generally give you better sound isolation, which will help you hear footsteps. The PX22 also has a built in function to increase bass, and that will actually help a lot with hearing footsteps.

I don't recommend them. I had them, and they're uncomfortable. They don't sound good, and the microphone isn't very good because it can't move very far. The only good things about them is that they have cloth ear cups. I returned mine within 4 days of having them.

I'll probably pick up the PX22, right now I have the G430's but I have til the weekend to return them.

The PX22's are great. They're pretty light so it's not hard to have them on all day. I think they're the best headphones under $80.
