Best Game Recording Software for Win 7

I'm looking for a simple to use program for recording video gameplay on windows 7. I have tried Camstudio and could not get it to work properly or record the game'a audio. And I briefly looked t Afterburner but it simply confused me and I couldn't figure out how to use it. I'm really looking for something that is very simply point and click, user friendly.

I've downloded the free trial version of Fraps but never managed to make it work to try it out. I set the video capture hotkey, but when I press it nothing happens. I don't know how to make it record.

There are settings for hotkey. Did you used settings to show fps indicator in corners? I have used it and it always works. I have downloaded full version for free.

I can't find any setting for indicators. Where did you find the full version for free?
