hello i want a thin and light gaming laptop for under 1500USD. Right now im considering the Sager NP8651 (Clevo P650SE) with IPS screen, 16gb ram and 128gb m.2 ssd, it has a 970m and an i7 processor. all for less than 1500. I mean its got 2 fans for gpu, a fan for cpu, so it feels good. what do you think? any suggestions? also what headphone and mouse should i buy. im considering the logitech g502 and hyperXcloud 2. what are your suggestions? is it even worth spending so much on peripherals? Ill be using the laptop for gaming, video editing, and for everyday use.

yes dpassenger you are correct the g750 and g751 are both 17 inch bulky laptops may i suggest the laptop i just bought which i am waiting to arrive by mail?

that is an MSI laptop for under your price point its a new 2015 model with the newest gtx 9 series graphics cards
you can also upgrade it with 3 m.2 ssd drives and 16gb of ram if wish to do soo

regarding the laptop you are looking at i dont know anything about sager/clevo brand laptops what kind of warranty do they have offer? and where are they made? now IPS screens are nice but most of them are gloss coated soo there is terrible reflection . hope this helps

ya this laptop looks cool.just asking is this MSI laptop better than the sager one? i mean sager laptop has a 970m with two gpu fans, where as this laptop has a 965m. the real question is , is it advised not to go for an unrecognized brand(with better value) in favor of a know brand?

well as i previously stated MSI has warranties for all their laptops and they have customer support and Forums for you to post on with questions what kind of warranty does sager offer or do they even? and how good is there support the real thing is depending on where you live some really good brands are not even sold in stores and only way you can buy is online so i wouldnt say Sager or MSI is a known/unknown brand i just never heard of them in my neck of the woods so i dont know much about them. now the 970m has 3gb of gddr5 memory whereas the 965m only has 2gb of gddr5 you will notice better performance from the 970m but probably not enough to sway you away from a 965m and the MSI laptop i suggested has 2 cooling fans 1 for the cpu itself and 1 for the gpu itself with dual copper heat pipes for better heat dissipation the reason i chose MSI myself over other brands like ASUS is that they not only make laptops but they make video cards and motherboards and most things PC and they have gotten great reviews from big names and unlike some companies who outsource for parts to make their laptops MSI does everything in house. hope this helps would love to here what you decide
