Ive only mostly hear bad about acer. Just get something decent and play on low setting or buy a desktop.

I think it will be so hard to find good gaming laptop with that budget. Better buy a desktop.

Try the sony vaio fit 15e for 475$ (550$ regular price with intel hd4000) or 575$ (see below) with coupon code VSC075 (until august 3rd in Canada)

You only need to select the gt740M option when customizing (+50$), I also recommend the i5 processor upgrade (+50$) but that's up to you...
