Best Laptop for B.Tech CSE

Hi guys, I want to buy a laptop for my Engineering (CSE - Computer Science)
I am stuck with two laptops : Macbook Pro 2012 and HP Pavalion 15-ak008tx
Since I'll be living in hostel would consider casual gaming sometimes

Macbook Pro 2012

i5 (Ivy Bridge) - 2 Cores, 2 Threads @ 2.5Ghz (Intel HD 4000)
4 GB RAM (will upgrade to 8GB, if I buy this)
500GB HDD (will upgrade to Samsung 850EVO, will remove CD Drive, will keep HDD for more space)
1280 x 800 Resolution

HP 15-ak008tx
i7-6700HQ (Skylake) - 4 Cores, 8 Threads @ 2.6GHz
4 GB RAM DDR3L (Will Upgrade to 8GB
1TB HDD (Will buy Samsung 850 EVO 250GB)
GTX 950 GDDR3 4GB
1920 x 1080 Resolutiom

Hp 15 will be much more powerful. I would go with that.

HP has better specs all around.,
You would also more then likely end up buying windows and parallels to be able to do what you need for your CSE degree anyways.

This makes the HP the obvious choice
