Best Laptop For Computer Science Student?

I've already got a gaming pc (GTX 1080, i5-6600k) but I need a laptop for uni. I don't know what specs you need for a laptop to code on or do general studying on, so any advice would be appreciated. I've been looking at MacBooks but they're way too expensive. I would like a laptop that has roughly the same dimensions as a MacBook (thin, light) and great build quality, so it's portable enough for me.

Any suggestions as to what I should get?
