With the new models rolling out nowadays... what is the laptop that contains the best combo of:

budget: $4000
battery: 2hrs hopefully
screen: 15-18
brand: any
optical drive: don't care
hard drive: don't care
financial modeling: yes
gaming: hell yes
finally, I need to be able to have other adults not laugh at me when they see it [alienware is basically out]

I recommend this. DX11, you can up the processor to 920 if you want since your budget is so high.

Ati 4870's were extremely loud compared gtx 280's just a heads up. you might be a jet flying through.
