Best software for media center build

I have an new build and wil be loading software this week.

I have PowerDVD 11 right now.
Any other that the community could recommend.
Also windows media center

Humm I've never run WMC for my HTPC instead I use a full Windows 7 installation and XBMC.

Don't use PowerDVD or any of that nonsense. Use VLC instead. It will play back pretty much any file content and you don't need to worry about having specific codec packs installed.
