I think 1Gb is plenty enough for the performance capability of the 7730. I don't even know why Nvidia puts 2GB VRAM on their low end mobile GPU.

It's common for pcs to have options for more vram, probably to fool non computer people to think it's better. But in reality 1gb is enough and having more makes no difference at your resolution.

thanks for your answers and patience guys but I'm a noob so if my questions get a little repetitive , please bear it
so 2gb 630m does not necessarily mean twice the performance or fps?? also , will I regret buying the 2gb 630m and not have any better performance than a 1gb 7730m??

also , if I get a laptop with a i5-3210M Third Generation (ivy bridge ) and 1gb 630m , would it be better than the 2gb since it cones with a sandy bridge?? in short , is this a good option:

2 gb will make no difference so is irrelevant. The 630m and 7730m are pretty close in performance with the 7730m just a little better. The 3rd gen cpu (IB) will be better than 2nd gen (SB).

Output is irrelevant, resolution matters but even if you are at 1080p, 1gb is enough. The 630m is just too weak to play at any setting utilizing more. I doubt you will ever even use the full 1gb.

My budget is nearly 700usd and I`m buying in Pakistan.

alright guys I`ve decided on the aspire v3 for two reasons..
1. it has Ivybridge
2. its gpu is more powerful than the amd 7730 and 7670m

Futuremark is a synthetic benchmark and should be taken with a grain of salt. When comparing gpus, you want to look at real games. http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-630M.63761.0.html The 7730m is better than the 630m. It's only a little better so I wouldn't worry if all you can find is the 630m with IB.
