Best SSD to get for the Lenovo y510p?

I want to replace my HDD with an SSD, and was wondering what SSD would be the best one to get? I was thinking the Samsung 850 EVO (500 GB capacity since I am completely getting rid of my original HDD) because of the price and reliability. I have also heard good things about how it can improve battery life somewhat, as well as having good read and write speeds. I want to hear some other people's opinions (also I have the lenovo y510p with dual 755m graphics cards).
