Best virtual memory acer aspire one netbook

Hello,
what is the best amount of virtual memory to apply on my acer aspire one netbook so it responds a little more quicker with programs etc.
or is the problem my ram ? i have 1gb of ram and a 250gb hd . only expandable to 2gb ...

It's best to let Windows manage virtual memory (the default setting).

Another 1GB of RAM is by far the best way to give your netbook a speed boost.
Too bad it can't take any more than 2GB.
4GB or even 3GB would have been much better.
