Hey!
We have a VIZIO E Series 50" Smart TV.
My HP Laptop (with 750m nvidia graphics card)

I have a 6GB mkv file on my laptop that I want to play on my TV.
What is the best way to play the file on the TV?

Hook up my laptop via HDMI and display out on the TV? (TV is 120HZ)
Copy video to a 8GB Flash driver and plug it into TV?
Copy video to a 8GB Flash driver and plug it into my BRay player?

I am not sure if the TV supports mkv, so IDK if 2 and 3 will work.. Will the first option give me any picture lose or audio lose?

The file has the codec:
Video: 1920x800 (X264 at 23.976fps)
Bitrate: 10.3Mbps
Audio: DTS 1509 Kbps

The best option is to play from the laptop. Just connect the TV and laptop via HDMI and you should be good to go. If the TV isn't automatically detected, just press the Windows Key + P and select Duplicate.
