It was my understanding that OSX didn't support SLI. Things might have changed overnight and there is a Geforce 285 available for the Mac Pro and the Mac Pro does have 3 PCI-E 2.0 slots capable of running most if not all of today's 16x video cards, I just don't think you can run 2 285's sli in a Mac without Windows.

Correct. Neither does the MacPro motherboard. Still, SLi...really? Why? My MacPro with a 285 can play 99% of PC games maxed out without dropping below 35-40 fps Most average much higher. The only game it struggles with is Crysis, but then so do most generic PC's. Crysis is, IMHO, tosh, anyway.

Wait a minute... because Apple does not allow me to run OS X on my machine, that's my fault? Oh it's capable of legally running it, the ONLY limitation is the company that produces OS X. I run windows xp on my macbook. It runs quite well and better than most windows only laptops. And lets not forget the sexy smooth design of the macbook that blows all pc laptops away....
