Question BIOS black screen after changes on Toughbook CF-53 - accessing the CMOS battery to reset

Hello all,

I made some changes to the BIOS on my Panasonic Toughbook CF-53 (Standard) and I'm getting a black screen on restart. I may have inadvertently switched an LED configuration off and this is what is likely causing this issue for me. I should have got an expert in, I know. Anyhow, to access the CMOS battery, is it better to approach this from the top or the bottom of the laptop? If I can run a flash drive so that I don't have to unscrew a million screws to get access to it, please point me in the right direction.

I appreciate any telling off's for doing this to myself as well as pointers to help me yank the CMOS battery out for five minutes or so to reset my BIOS mistake. Cheers.

I know the first one is for a CF-52, but they should be similar.

Also, have you tried attaching to an external display to see if anything appears when you power on?
