when i prime95 it on 3Ghz, in around 5-10min it turns blue screen saying windows haf shutdown to prevent damage to the com...
which i guess is cpu voltage too little and i dont c any options to change it in the bios.will updating the bios unlock cpu voltage?

I thought all motherboards allowed at least a voltage change. You can try updating the BIOS. I doubt it will enable new features but it won't hurt

my motherboard is ecs g31-m7(rev1) and thr isnt any options to modify the voltage.only display the current voltage or smth...when i get to ecs web, and they say use a floppy...i dont haf 1!!

If you don't have that option in the BIOS I'd say you probably can't change it. Maybe there's some software that can do it...dunno tho
