Black screen after updates following Windows 10 upgrade. No cursor

Black screen after updates since moving to Windows 10 on acer aspire 4810TZG. Windows logo shows up and the startup tune but blank screen (for 1 hour 15 mins).

Try uninstalling 10 and see if you get the screens back. Sometimes it doesn't install correctly.
